South Perinton Methodist Church:
The South Perinton Methodist Church is a rural historic church established in 1813.
Responding to the religious fervor of the “Second Great Awakening,” Methodist circuit riders were holding services in Perinton in1816 and possibly as early as 1808.
The South Perinton Methodist Church and the South Perinton Cemetery Association were separated in the early1900's.
The church and cemetery are now two separate entities, managed by two separate organizations. As required, we work together as a team to accomplish our goals.
In this website the church can be seen in many of the photos based on its close proximity to the cemetery.
